Hampton Inn & Suites Stamford

I loved the location! It was just a short walk to downtown and the park. Unfortunately, the AC in my room didn't work well

The hotel was perfect and reasonably clean with delightful views over the park and skating rink. The location was comfy, at a short distance from Downtown. Visited few places in the center, around 10-15 minutes walk from the venue.

Facilities were clean, but internet was terrible.

Wish the beds were queens and not twins. The room was small. The bathroom was very tight between the door and toilet. The room was dark.

This hotel is just a short walk from downtown Stamford's restaurants and theaters. We loved having breakfast together each morning, and the spacious rooms were perfect for our grandkids to play in.

My kids wished the air conditioning worked better for us. The room got a bit stuffy during the hot afternoon.

The king room was very spacious. The bathroom layout and facilities were outstanding

All the staff was very friendly.

The bathroom was dated and small, also the pressure of the shower was very weak.

The spacious King Suite was perfect for our group, making the wedding weekend enjoyable. Loved the attached restaurant's ambiance and delicious food, complemented by attentive staff.

Rooms were large and beds and linens were comfortable. Refrigerator was handy. Easily accessed business center allowed for free printing of our boarding passes.

They had no non dairy milk substitute ( soymilk or almond milk) at breakfast to have with cereal.

Excellent Service - very clean room! Love the amenities - parking, business center, breakfast.

The hotel has a fresh look with newly painted walls and clean carpets. The queen room was spacious and boasted a wonderful shower with plenty of hot water. We also loved the fitness center, a great way to unwind after a day exploring. We appreciated the friendly service from the front desk staff too.

Very clean and convenient to downstown Stamford without the pricetag of being in downtown Stamford. Also: I called for the shuttle one afternoon and it wasn't running. They sent a cab for me and picked up the tab.

Breakfast wasn't great. Lots of sugary pastries and cereals, not much more. Also, I hung my towels up per the instructions so they wouldn't get replaced and housekeeping still replaced them.

The staff was very helpful and willing to take care of my requests and questions.

The hotel was a little pricey, but very nice.

Comfortable with nice decor. The air conditioning didn't cool effectively was nice. The experience was decent, and I appreciated the convenient coffee and tea availability.

I liked almost everything; see what I didn't like

I had a handicap accessible room. The room was great; but the toilet was so very low I couldn't get down and up. Upon request, they did bring me a raised toilet with bars. High toilets should be in all rooms; especially handicap room.

Everything was great. Very clean and nicely decorated. Staff was very friendly and professional, even checking in at 1:30 am. Bed was very soft and shower was awesome with good water pressure. The decorating was tastefully done.

We had no issues at all. The only con (a very little one) is the eating area for breakfast is on the smaller side. The breakfast itself was nothing out of the ordinary but it was good.
